You should be able to just from HDMI to HDMI, if you don't have HDMI I recall there being an adapter for the RGB.

For what its worth, I play Xbox 360 on a monitor. MS has a VGA cable on the market.

If you serach "PS3 VGA" on Amazon you'll find the equivalent. But they don't have great scores.

i am sure you can use the xbox one, its only VGA and it should work regardless what brand since its universal

and i am talking about the little converter thing and not the cable

Some monitors have DVI ports. I use an HDMI to DVI cable. My monitor also has an HDMI port but for some reason the DVI just gives a better picture... even though DVI is supposed to be HDMI simply without the sound but what ever.
