PC recommendations

check out Penumbra made by the same people as Amnesia

Mount & blade: warband is a great RPG/strategy/medieval  combat sim

I recommend trying at least one spider web software game, they offer large demos

the current steam sale has a great inde game demo for $5US for the next 7 hours includes some great platformers, adventure and puzzle games

also if you like some competitive/co-op multiplayer try some League of Legends

and if your PC can handle it grab Starcraft 2

if you don't mind bugs and like shooters with RPG elements (conversations, quests, inventory and equipment management) the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series would be a good place to look.

DS

if you don't have them get Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, the world ends with you, Fire Emblem, Chrono Trigger, Dragon quest IX and GTA china town wars

@TheVoxelman on twitter

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

DS: Castlevanias (Dawn of Sorrow, Portrain of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia), New Super Mario Bros., Pokemon (Platinum and HeartGold or SoulSilver), The Legend of Zelda (Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks), Professor Layton (The Curious Village, Pandora's Box and the Lost Future), Mario & Luigi (Partners in Time and Bowser's Inside Story)

PC: Warcraft III Expansion Pacl, Diablo II Expansion Pack, Buldur's Gate Series, Grim Fandango, Starcraft I 2 Expansion Packs, Age of Empirers I & II Expansion Packs, Heroes of Might and magic III Expansion Packs (not niche, but they're all awsome, screw the damn indies!) and Braid and World of Goo (if you want niche)

Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (can't beleive you don't have this one, if I had a Wii I'd buy 2 copies of it ).

Etrian Odyssey III for DS, Onechanbara for Wii.

Onechanbara is among the worst games i've ever played, and i'm the type of person who like to give games more time.

Well, despite that Onechanbara mention, please don't let that distract from the other recommendation of Etrian Odyssey 3. It's one of the best DS games out there! (And it's even better if you've played one of the earlier ones, to appreciate the extras, but still a great standalone game.) I'd also recommend Dragon Quest 9 for the DS, and Fragile for the Wii. Of course, I can rattle off quite a few other games, too, but I don't want to send you into wallet arrest...

(Actually, for those on a budget, I would also recommend a great old-school style RPG: The Dark Spire, for the DS.)

i know Etrian Odyssey , i've known the older ones as well.

Not sure if you're still collecting FF games, but here are the missing ones from your DS collection:-

- Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
- Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales
- Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light

Non-FF DS games recommendations:-

  • Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
  • Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
  • The World Ends With You
  • Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
  • Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
  • Rhythm Heaven
  • Tetris DS
  • WarioWare: Touched!
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games
  • Trauma Center games

For Wii, Monster Hunter 3, Little King's Story, Wario Land: TSD

As for DS, Dragon Quest IV, V and IX, Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, Metroid

Excellent, in my opinion, too many people don't know about this wonderful little series...
