it made me chuckle at the preview from harry potter. Not sure what reasons but I remember being amused.

I won't go see it though.

There's lots of old kids movies that are good though. Miyazaki's great when he does kids movies. Totoro (My favorite kids movie ever yes). Granted that's old too. Dreamworks is great at times. Antz is my favorite CG movie.

The problem with Hannah Barbara properties is that they just don't translate well into the modern age for the most part. The kind of humor they worked with was very basic, and trying to make it work only creates butcheries like this

Well I dunno. The trailer rings with Nostalga I used to watch Yogi Bear pretty much every day. Sure it doesn't look that great but I will go see it just because its Yogi Bear. Not to mention in the trailer I saw several bits taken from the cartoon. They may not transalate as well to Live action but at least it appears true to the TV show.

Also they didn't show anything about the plot so you never know it might be well written. But I'm beeing pretty optamistic. Also i liked Alvin and the Chipmonks but have to agree Flinstones was pretty bad. Hopefully they don't totally screw up Yogi Bear.

Lol same.

Before HP7, they did previews of Tron and then suddenly Yogi Bear trailer appeared from no where and my god it was so awful watching that lame trailer...
