I guess that Vgchartz agrees.

The dates I used were VGChartz Hardware data for the period 27th Jun 2010 to 30th Oct 2010. I assumed they were talking about Europe as EU countries in the original EU and that they were talking about completed months with the last month, November being incomplete.

You should not post stuff like that. You should be ranting about Greenberg. ;P

With other europe data, PS3 is ahead by something like 100k. That is Europe only...

But if you count America & Europe like Greenberg said, 360 is ahead by something like 900k.

Im not sure if he meant both individually or combined to be honest. Anyway our data for Other Europe is pretty bad here so im not sure what conclusions can be drawn from it.

Tease.

Microsoft usually don't include other Europe's data like Squillam says. Greenberg twisted it a bit, but for main EU, the 360 did better than the PS3 in that period

Someone is lying - either Nintendo or Greenburg.  I will believe Nintendo for this one just because it's more in line with shipment numbers.

Since greenberg was one of the many butthurt people that dissed out Wii sales in the beggining of the gen because "it doesn't count" I have no doubts that this fatass douchebag is just pouring shit out of his mouth.

Either that, or he is paid to say so. Its the man's job.

Aww, you make it sound so beautiful.

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

Well "across Europe" to me means all of Europe, not just the big 6.

So I'm gonna add to Squill's numbers here

Console Wii
Other Europe
165,756
Console PS3
Other Europe
290,116
Console X360
Other Europe
130,198

Giving for across Europe

360: 1,210,034

PS3: 1,252,364

Wii: 925,043

On VGC PS3 and 360 are within 3.4% of each other "across Europe". Quite possible with VGC's self proclaimed MoE that 360 is in fact marginally ahead of PS3.

PS3 LTD on VGC after recent adjustments, mostly made in the ME & A territories, alligns quite well with PS3 shipment numbers. I'm inclined to think there is only a fairly small error in the PS3 LTD estimate. 360 LTD numbers are also very well alligned with shipment numbers too so there's not likely to be too much error there either. But there certainly can be enough error on both sides to see 360 marginally ahead across europe for those months.

UK is amazing 360>Wii PS3.

Well sorry to break it to you, but other europe and middle east / asia vgchartz numbers are basically groundless because of the lack of data from those regions, people always seem to forget this. His claim could be true even adding other euorpe to the equation (which I am pretty sure he doesn't do because when you speek about europe in an political/economic context you usually mean EU or western europe).

It's total sales of Europe and USA combined since the slim launch, nothing new. He seems to hint a stronger xbox in Europe, but it's just a careful wording from a p.r.

It was sony in europe XD

Yeah i know my spelling sucks but im dysgraphic so live with it :3

Conegamer - I say that the PS3 will beat the DS next week in Japan  (for hardware sales) Forfeit is control over others avatar for 1 week.

MS and Sony use different definitions of Europe, this has been known for a while now from previous comments from both companies.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

That's just a weird claim.  Couldn't Sony say something similar, but say Japan plus Europe.  Wouldn't that make them ahead in Europe?  Plus, where are his numbers to back this up?

I love how people have no proof but claim"Oh he means America combined" not even Aaron greenberg would do that ... he clearly states "Number #1 selling console across Europe"
