So I got a freshly hatched Axew up for trade. I'm looking for a Larvesta or Volcarona for it. I dont know if thats a rip off (probably is) but it's what I want/need.

Since you got Axew, you can get a Larvesta as well, because you already got Surf.

To get one, you'll need to go to Route 1, and surf west in the river there. You'll reach a patch of land which you can follow to route 17. If you continue along route 17, you'll reach route 18 and in there will be an island with a house. Inside the house, a pokemon ranger will give you a Larvesta egg. Make sure you got a free slot in your team to take it.

I got himn through a trade though. I barely just got Strength. Its ok thought I got a larvesta from a trade earlier.

You need to take it to Nacrene gym which doubles as a museum. Talk to the lady on the counter to the right and she'll make the change from fossil to pokemon

You got Axew from an early trade then? I thought that you had Surf because Axew can only be caught on Mistralton Cave which requires Surf.

Just fought 3 Tynamo's in a row... 1 on the top floor then 2 on the bottom floor.

What are the odds?

There is nothing good to train my newly-caught Sandile on. I had to go all the way back to Pinwheel forest on foot, and even there it's mostly bug, fighting, or water types. Thank god for Audino's ubiquitousness.

And Pignite's rollout made for an even *more* unbalanced fight against Burgh.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

How do you people cope with the constant time wasted going back to pokemon center for healing after every few battles?

Wasn't it always like that, for every other pokemon game? o.o
