Well, i got it, picked out Tepig for gym-leader beating and picked up a Purrloin (i still have that ingrained attraction towards Dark types, due to my fascination with anything that can stop psychic types, which itself is just a leftover compulsion from my Blue days when Psychic types were brokenly unstoppable)

What's the good normal-type TM mule in this game? Someone who can fill in the holes?

damn my guide for not having a built-in pokedex. I hate having to browse online...

Lillipup/Herdier/Stoutland is a good Normal-Type TM mule and they can also learn Surf and Strength. But for the biggest amount of TM's usable, Audino is your best pick.

Finally transferred the entiretiy of my boxes from the previous gen games. Now all that's needed is a truckload amount of time to evolve everything, Incense breeding and so on >_<.

Surf and strength? cool...

Could void a need to pick up a proper Water type, as Surf is pretty much the only offensive water move i use anyway :P

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

There's an amazing TM-learnable Water move in the new games, Scald. Not only does it have 80 attack power, it also has a 10% chance to inflict Burn status on the foe's pokemon. It's like a watery Flamethrower.

beat the game last night, really cool ending

excited that there is so much to do post game, most likely going to retool my team a little for the next elite four run

Was the battle against Ghetsis difficult for you as well?

it was, a lot more difficult than N's battle was (not much of a king!)

I didn't have as much trouble with his Hydreigon as I thought I would, although it did OHKO my Haxorus, but Reshiram held on. Ghetsis' Eelektross gave me trouble. I only had a poisoned 60HP left Krookodile when I took out his Bisharp with an earthquake to win it

That's nice! That will be helpful when i'm EV training the rest of my Battle Station team

I usually don't name boxes, except for Legendary and Shiny boxes. The rest of them, I organize pokemon in National Pokedex numeration order.

Speaking of shinies, have you found any in the new games?

My friend actually found a shiny Hoppip last night, I was jealous- I've never found one

decided to change my team up a little for the next elite four go around, switching out Gigalith and Zebstrika for Hydreigon and Eelektross

Nice, I have a shiny Carnivine from SS and a shiny Skuntank from Diamond (evolved from a shiny Stunky).

A friend of mine, back in Gold/Silver, had a lot of shinies. He was the one who lent me a shiny Zubat which I evolved into a shiny Crobat which was my main attacker back in those days xD.

It really, really, reaaally ticks me off when you're doing Audino hunts at a spot where there's 95% chances of one appearing and 5% chances of Emolga appearances and you get 11 Emolgas out of 12 shaking grasses....

I seriously considered throwing the frigging DS out of the window >_>
