Or worse, you're online and you have to wait on some ramdom guy because they have to insert the disc.

Games don't need nearly as much data as you think. Fallout New Vegas is only 4.8 GB on the 360. My head almost exploded knowing they could fit that much content into a relatively small amount of storage. I bet a vast majority of GT5 is video and perhaps other uncompressed data. |
Does it still have like one voice actor per race like Oblivion had? And low-res textures? Also, the same textures re-used over and over again? I'm sure NV is a great game. My point, however, is that it's not the size of the world or the amount of hype that determines how much space you need. What is important how you use the space you have instead.
You guys realize that when they fill a blu-ray its mostly repeated data to ease load times and uncompressed cinematics right?
Its a torrent so repeated data is cut out and GT has very few cinematics. If anything 21 gbs for a single game is pretty damn massive.
Time for hype
21GB..is that suppose to be disappointing?? Isn't that like 3 DL DVDs.
I don't know much but it seems like a hell of a lot to me, maybe I am still stuck in the PS2 DVD days.

You can now downgrade from the newer firmware to the older version and jailbreak.
Plus PSN is working on jailbroken PS3s with a new hack.
