Games don't need nearly as much data as you think.

Fallout New Vegas is only 4.8 GB on the 360. My head almost exploded knowing they could fit that much content into a relatively small amount of storage.

I bet a vast majority of GT5 is video and perhaps other uncompressed data.

Does it still have like one voice actor per race like Oblivion had? And low-res textures? Also, the same textures re-used over and over again? I'm sure NV is a great game. My point, however, is that it's not the size of the world or the amount of hype that determines how much space you need. What is important how you use the space you have instead.
