It's only going to get worse. GT5 will take microtrannys to the stratisophere of stupidity. Cars and tracks are only the begining....
I love the GT series but if I have to spend extra $$ just to compete online than I'll stay single player only. I'm already fed up of getting curbstomped in PGR3, TD:U and Forza 2 by players who spend an extra $10 - $30 on car packs.
Back in the PGR2 days $10 got you 1 city consisting of 10 tracks and 10 cars. Those were the days. *sheds tear*
I hope that all this stuff will come integrated into the European version when it is released next year, hopefully early on
@IllegalPaladin: Americans won't be seeing GT5:prologue till Q1 08, heck, we don't even have the prologue demo yet. Prologue is going to be released with that new Logitech wheel, probably in spring of next year for us Americans. This might be so they get more time to add car damage in at launch, along with other graphical goodies since they know Americans are such graphics whores.
Also, the director said there will be updates added to the game and car damage ***MAY*** be one of them. So nothing is confirmed.
