Now that GT5 is about to release, Sony needs their next big thing waving in the horizon. AGENT fills those shoes in perfectly!

Its either

  • GTA V, OR the confirmed Rockstar PS3 exclusive game
  • FF7 Remake *Confirmed!!*
  • FFXV
  • KH3
  • Uncharted 3
  • MGS V

It has to be a game reveal since it is following the Spike Video Game Award

They cant be revealing a big new exclusive Sony Digicam after a game event right ? Maybe it is the worlds first 100 gigapixels consumer cam to be revealed. Wow!!

On a sidenote, Sony has a 8.25% stake in SE. Hmm.. I would wonder that KH3, FFXV or FF7R to be announced by SE but there is always the possibility.. since Sony themselves announced FFXIV to be semi exclusive

Doesn't get more obvious than that. It's worded very carefully - it doesn't say an exclusive reveal on PS3, it says PS3 exclusive. Two different things.

The article says "something for PS3".  In fact, nothing in that link definitely says that it's a game, they only speculate as to what it could be.  Plus, if websites work the same as newspapers etc, then the sub-editor could've mis-interpreted the article when they came up with the heading.

Weren't ESPN and Netflix on the 360 referred to as exclusive, and Hulu Plus on PSN?

I mean, we could sit and argue about it all day. I don't think Sony would have this announcement for just some DLC or service (or for an exclusive reveal of a multiplatform game showing the PS3 version).

We'll know in a few weeks though. If I'm proven wrong, I'll gladly come back here and acknowledege that.

Agreed, but don't expect some game that will appeal to everybody either, it might just be like Sly 4.

netflix is also on PS3 and Wii.....

Also I doubt its about sum new apps, if it was they would just announce it straight up out of no where.

this is most likely a game since their announcing an ANNOUNCEMENT to get some buzz.

I really hope it's starhawk. This game has the potential to be the best selling PS3 exclusive (besides GT). Sony could surprise us and make this their big game of Fall 2011 (instead of Uncharted 3 or AGENT which most believe).
