Console Americas Japan EMEAA Worldwide

215,155 2,095 224,706 441,956

121,692 19,248 229,337 370,277
29,124 39,883 83,997 153,004

Numbers look good. Looks like Kinect is doing it's thing, just like I thought. Didn't do to bad in EMEA region either. I expect the numbers will be over 500K in U.S. for Black Friday. Look at the Wii go. It jumped like over 250% in Japan. Not sure why, but it smoked the PS3. Curious to see what it does next week in Japan.

Red Wii.

Solid numbers, no real surprises though.

Ok, So over 578K Kinect Adventures is sold worldwide this week, yet there is only 441K XBox 360 sold worldwide? Does anyone see a problem here. I thought Kinect Adventures isn't sold seperately? Which means XBox 360 sales are way undertracked. Or Kinect Adventure software is way overtracked. Something is amiss. What about 360 sales without Kinect/Kinect Adventure bundle? Something ain't right.

Kinect Adventures is included in the Kinect package, at least in America

Lol there's plenty of bundles for X360... maybe 20/30% of the bundles sold are Kinect ones.

All the hardware numbers look pathetic when you look at what Black Ops numbers. The winner this Week: CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS. Week 1 black ops on PS3 almost equal Reach on XBOX360. And this game will definitely show legs. AMAZING and i m an RPG fan and a FF fan. Shooters and specially call of Duty are taking over this HD generation.

Looks like Wii should run away with the holiday season easilly, considering Wii has already put distance between itself and PS3 and is nearing 360, when the HD consoles have Black Ops, not to mention Move and Kinect, which are almost like console relaunches. While Wii still hasn't had perhaps its two biggest games of the holiday, DKC and Epic Mickey released yet. Japan will be the major difference that separates the Wii from the 360.

Not to say that the Wii won't win the holidays but you're making it seem like the Wii hasn't played any of its cards yet. This week does include the red Wii launch in Japan and America you know.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

Uhhgg.. I see. Some of those  Kinect Adventure sales are just Kinect/KA only without the Xbox 360. My mistake. Ok, that make sense now. Doh!!!

Didn't say it hasn't played any of its cards, just not its most important ones. Keep in mind, NSMB Wii helped to rocket Wii sales to a record 4.3 million sales in the US in December. Not saying DKC will push those kinds of numbers, but it is a similar type of game with a similar broad appeal. Longterm, I do think this game will singlehandedly make a bigger difference than even the red Wii bundle.
