Wii could see a slowdown in sales in 08. Its entirely possible that PS3 could sell 100 million. Me i think ps3 will be last when the Wii2/xbox720 launch but will probably outsell them both LTD. If ps3 does get its 10 yrs, carries on to 2016 then its probable it will hit 100 million. I guess will know when all the December figures are in. Personally I dont care, as long as the DS crushes all beneath it then I'm happy. Incidentally does anyone have 12 DS systems and 46 games like me?

But what exactly is a "slowdown"? What numbers will people use to define it? Because if it's a expected summer slowdown in sales then all the people crying about Wii magically stopping mid 08 can hide behind this as part of the typical "Wii doomed!" arguments.

I dont know if the ps3 will ever catch the wii. However, I do know that the sales of the wii will not be triple to that of the xbox360 and ps3 combined as many people on here suggest.

PS2 tripled sales of xbox and gamecube but nintendo will not do that this time around.

So...starting in a couple weeks, the PS3 will suddenly LEAP off it's current trajectory and sell at a faster pace than the Wii?  I can understand if they feel like BS'ing and saying that the PS3 catches up to the Wii in '11, as that's entirely possible...but that graph is crap.

Nah, this whole article's crap.  I hate analysts.  I mean, sure, they predict doom and gloom for the Wii, I don't really have a problem with that, but they NEVER back it up...they just say "people will get tired of the Wii's non-HD graphics."

 They say people will lose interest in the Wii because of it's graphics, but yet they also doomsay the PS3 because of it's price (not in this article obviously, but in numerous others).  Which is it folks?  You can't have it both ways.  Just goes to show that these guys just pull it all out of their asses.  If they really had any clue, they'd all be saying pretty much the same thing and the predicted loser would just cut their losses.
