Only GOTY-nominee i like is RDR.

I must say this list is really bad in many ways, it seems to be nominated a game needs guns and violence.

I think Halo: Reach will win every category.

Even best Wii game.

Why are the goty contendors all HD console games? Starcraft 2 was a huge hit, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 is probably the best rated game this year. Oh and thanks for considering the DS, PSP, and every mobile device in existance to be the same platform. And how did Sports games get two categories? Platformers got shunted in Action Adventure, what makes Sports special?

I don't think spike tv ever made a quality list in my opinion >_<...

I know you're obsessed with God of War anything but the music from it doesn't even touch any of the Halos let alone Halo:Reach.

Well, Spike doesn't exactly specialize in video games, so what do you expect?

I know you are obsessed with reach but I have to agree with him, GOW soundtrack is way better than Reach (yeah I actually listened to it) and the franchise of GOW in general has been very impressive in brining some great soundtracks to the table...all of which I think are way better than that of Halo's.

but then again it's opinion, nothing more nothing less...

oh and btw I thought Lord of Shadows soundtrack was pretty badass tbh

I'm glad you "listened" to the soundtrack to Reach. Have you played the game? Have you played the campaign all the way through? The soundtrack of Reach and every other Halo game is actually relevent to the game and provides an emotional response to the player. Its an integral part of the game. You don't even notice the music in God of War. I don't even know how a sane person can even compare the two. I have both games btw and I've beaten both. Go do some research on Marty O'Donnel and come back to me and tell me with a straight face that GOW has a better soundtrack. It may be your opinion but its the opinion of a very few. Nobody even knows the name of the composer of the GOW soundtrack. And posting it after looking it up on wiki doesn't prove anything.

Edit: Not obsessed with Reach at all. I just know that the Halo series has some of the best soundtracks in video game history. Right up there with some of the Final Fantasies. And I agree Lords of Shadow had an awesome soundtrack.

I played the multiplayer not the campaign...but the soundtrack is the soundtrack, I listened to it ( I like soundtracks, if you haven't seen my threads on them)...

GOW soundtrack does an amazing job in creating the atmosphere...I don't know the names of ANY composers lol cuz I don't care and doubt many do tbh....but I do know orchestras around the world perform the GOW soundtrack as well..but doubt they are 'sane' tho

like I said we should jsut agree to disagree, I just stand by on what I said that GOW soundtracks in general has been top notch and has been way better (to me) than the Halo franchise which btw I have played upto 3rd. didn't finish 3rd tho.

Again it's an 'opinion' just because you don't agree doesn't make it false...let's just leave it at that?
