A Note from the Thread Maker:

I grew up in Orange County, California for sixteen years, and had the great luck to live half and hour from a magical place called Disneyland. This place was a wonderland of my youth, a place where real magic existed. A day there was unlike anything I've ever witnessed, and it was a joy to behold. Disney had a special place in my childhood, and I consider myself better for it.

I'm older now, and I now live over 2,000 miles away from Disneyland.  Still, Disney will always have a special place in my memories and will always impact how I see magic. No, not magic in the sense of wizards or spells... but a magic of the heart. Things that make us look on with wonder, things that give us hope when we're feeling hopeless. Its magic like that that really lives on, that endures.

Epic Mickey is a special game that is made for a guy like me. It was developed by those with love in their hearts, and with understanding of what Disney magic really is. Warren Spector and his team at Junction Point have invested time, energy, and heart into creating a lost world that needs saving, and only Mickey, Disney's most cherished creation, can save it. This game is going to take us on an adventure that has been almost a century in the making. I for one can't wait to go on an Epic Adventure with Mickey Mouse into a world teeming with real magic. Cheers.

Nice thread. I actually pre-ordered this game couple days ago. It might turn out mediocre, (Although I sincerely doubt it) but for the first time in a while, I can actually afford to take some risks.

Oh, and before I forget...

*Gloaty comment about Europeans getting this game before Americans do*

Well... this thread was an Epic fail. (Ha! I used a pun in line with the thread)

EDIT: Wow! NinPanda comes in and stealth posts before me! What skills!

EDIT 2: You Speak Blasphemy!

EDIT 3: Touche!

Im looking forward to it might end up getting it for my Birthday in December.Although it looks amazing,Warren Spector is starting to overexaggerate by saying its the best looking game on wii.

Should be seeing reviews up soon, since it comes out first in Europe. I hope i dont get disappointed, because it looks like a winner. Does anyone know if they have shown or going to show commercials?

AMAZING THREAD!!!

I'm really looking forward to this game!!

I want to see how the 2D platforming is gonna be combined with the 3D world and its own puzzles/platforming...choices of wiping out things with the paintbrush....side quests...story...music

This could be a very special game, its doing sooooo many things..lets hope it can nail down each of them!
