I've been wanting this since the release of the Wii. The Mega Man-games we have on the VC and WiiWare are great, no doubt, but I grew up with the first Mega Man X, and I haven't played it since I was a little kid. I'd love to relive that game and actually complete it (which I never did as a child), but I've begun to lose hope that we'll ever see it released on WiiWare. Considering how happy they are about releasing the Classic series (which I deeply appreciate), it just puzzles me.

Yes, I think they will and I hope that they do.

If I remember Megaman 1 - 4 have been released on the VC so far.  I expect that they will finish off the NES games, then 7, then the SNES X games.

I want it as well! It's my favorite Mega Man game. There are a bunch of VC games that they need to release still.

We'll get MM5-7, Forte and at least X1.  X2-3 might not happen though, due to using Capcom's custom C4 chip, but it's still possible.

Well a few years ago they released a Mega Man X Collection for the Gamecube and PS2 (in North America).

Which had Mega Man X (1-6) and Battle and Chase. Maybe you should see if you could find that somewhere.

Megaman X is one of the reasons I was so excited about VC. I played the hell out of it, but it was from a friend not mine. I hope they release it but I doubt it.
