Forums - Nintendo - *UDraw releases today in America!*

THQ's UDraw game tablet is out starting today in America! I will be a big supporter of the item and will buy UDraw as well as all 3 launch games sometime near Christmas time.

Who else is planning to buy UDraw this Holiday? Who else is planning to buy it in Early 2011 when it is released in Others and Japan?

Silent release. They expect to sell a million this year like this?
I really don't understand some companies...

have they released any commercials? If not, then EPIC FAIL

Yup very quiet release...They said they would be promoting it but I have seen nothing yet...I still hope its successful in the end.

It is very strange that the promised multimillion dollar advertisement campaign is nowhere to be seen, unless a facebook page has gotten really expensive.

As far as the product itself, I'm still interested, but would definitely want to hear  some impressions before considering a purchase. I will probably not buy it until some of the future planned games for the device are announced, in case more games fall through just like the ad campaign. If there are any early adopters of the device on VGC I"d love to hear some impressions.

I haven't seen any yet but according to THQ they will be advertising it but I don't know...last week I was watching the Nintendo week thing and at the end they said what this weeks show will be about...and they didn't say anything about UDraw...so if Nintendo doesn't even promote it on the Nintendo channel...yes the advertising is a complete fail...maybe they will advertise closer to Christmas?

It doesn't need marketing! This is how the uDraw is gonna be a success.

Parent: Hmmm... I need to get my little bastard kid a game. HOLY SHIT! A DRAWING THING! (runs to checkout counter)

Gamestop Employee: Want to preorder any games?

Parent: NO! But take all the munnies you need for this thing!

5 jillion sold. The end.

I doubt it as far as I have seen I am the biggest UDraw supporter on this site and I won't even be buying it until Late December.

Marketing would be nice but I still think UDraw could end up successful anyway without it...with a marketing push It could be bigger than Move though in my opinion.

I plan on getting it soon
