Prince of Persia is being published by Ubisoft, who for some reason have chosen not to release in NA. but generally the NA region is favioured in terms of quantity and efficency of releases imo.

Edit: maybe their trying to create the Demon's Souls effect... PoP has become weaker recently since the PS2 days.
