Really good review, my thoughts exactly and I'm glad you wrote that review, as I don't think there's been fair press given to the game, with the exception of a handful of reviews (check out the one on pushsquare.com).

I've had it since it came out. Frustrating at first trying to work out how exactly to play it, but excellent ever since. A revelation really.

I've been sceptical of motion control games since playing the Wii, but The Fight appealed to me (esepcially since i used to do Muay Thai). I also did my research, I needed to be properly convinced it could be good.

Having had it for a week, and playing it most days, i'm really impressed, and physically, the game really makes you work and sweat! My muscles have ached since I got it, and I'm not unfit – perhaps not as fit as I used to be though.

I've burned about 450 calories (it calculates it all for you), and I think i'm starting to visibly see a difference physically. A really good hardcore motion control game – not for lazy people and not for those who aren't willing to work and SWEAT hard! Because you will!

Good read, certainly makes me want to give The Fight a work through. I just need another Move controller.

Really good read. sounds really good for a type of cardiovascular workout, but its a shame that people like ign have slated it so badly. i'll probabily pick it up in the new year, just havent got much time at the moment to excercise like i used to.

yea me too. Really tempted to get the game now, as well as an extra move controller

Phenomenal read, a well-informed and more experienced review than any online publication is going to give. 7/10 or 8/10 isn't an amazing review, but it still says "hey, this game is still fun if it's the kind of game that's up your alley". The 3's and 4's and 5's out there just tell consumers that the game is 100% garbage, which is apparently not 100% accurate.

Currently playing: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, NBA2k11, Metal Gear Solid, Picross 3d

I thought it was a pretty good review. It's always a bit of a risk when you make your ability to land a hit stat dependent because it's very hit or miss (no pun intended) with players and reviewers. It doesn't bother me because I really love stats and stat building in computer games but I can see why a lot of reviewers gave it a bad score as a result. I don't think this review or the reviews that gave it a low score are bad, but I really think it highlights that this feature is something that some gamers will overlook (me) while other gamers will see this as a gamebreaker. Because I grew up playing Baldur's gate and Morrowind the idea of an invisible 'hit roll' is like second nature to me, but I have to accept that it is a bit of a dying style these days, hence why games like Oblivion got rid of it.

A nice review with the caveat regarding the Wiimote which has less lag and is almost as accurate (and in some instances better) than Move when you include Motion .

I was just going by my personal experience.  Not verified by fact.   Wasn't meant as a shot towards the Wii as much as just my personal disappointment.

Sure. It is pretty good with Motion . It just needs about 10 more quality titles to play on it.

:)

It definitely is a good workout. I have the same problem when it comes to time aswel. it's trying to find that right balance between relaxing (usually playing computer games) and exercising - this ocmbines both!

Just been playing it for 45 minutes, i feel exhausted...

I dont think theres a caveat there, where can I find the basics of that claim?
