It seems that Microsoft has blown away all expectations this gen.  There was the thread saying that the Xbox 360 would never reach 50 Million sales and it's done that  http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=24567 .  Then, there was this thread with many saying Kinect would never reach 20 million sold.  Just goes to show that most of us aren't nearly as good at predicting things as we think we are.

Good call OP! The shocking thing for me is that I know that Kinect has sold extremely well but I still don't know more than one person who owns one (out of the 30-40 people I know who have a 360).

I'm glad that Microsoft didn't listen to certain investors and analysts that wanted them to pull out off video games after the original Xbox! It isn't for me, but well done Kinect.

you can't see any possible way?  Are you that short sighted?  I can think of one very obvious way, they bundle it with every xbox, or how about if they drop the price to 50 bucks?  There are lots of possible ways for this to happen, and far from impossible.  The 360 and kinect are going to be around for another 2 to 3 years at least.  Plenty of time to move 20 million units.
