A lot of this movie was utterly fantastic, but it was missing something to bring the whole package together in the same way that episodes 4 and 5 did.

First off, I have no problems with the Ewoks. Yes, they are little furry things with rocks and sticks that helped defeat the technologically advanced Storm Troopers, but that's hardly something new, history has many examples of the 'weaker' side coming out victorious in specific battles after all (the Zulu's defeating the British due to sheer numbers immediately springs to mind).

So yeah, we got Leia in the gold bikini, the death of Yoda, the Death Star got blown up (again), Anakin's redemption and murder of the Emperor, and the ultimate defeat of the Empire, and everybody is happy.

Wait... are you telling us that Jar Jar Binks reminds you of your dog...
