The character models themselves aren't too great...but god damn those face animations are fucing amazing.

its not made by any of Rockstars studios

Its being made by team bondi in Australia. the game was orginally going to be an SCE game but SCE canned it probably due to high costs. Rockstar games which is an publisher under the publisher of Take Two Interactive is publishing the game.

The reason for using Rockstar and not Take two or 2K must be because its an open world sandbox type game. The cost is rumoured at 150 million.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

It isn't Rockstar, but it might as well be because it's a new genre shoved into the Rockstar format, which if done well, is awesome. Shame that hasn't happened this gen though.
