wii could be thought of as a "gateway" consol. however, don't forget what crowd nintendo is attracting. nintendo is attracting people like my girlfriend who likes the wii and hates ps3/360 for the same reasons she refused to go to watch the movie 300 with me. she hates violence, gore, and action movies in general and her tastes are going to change just because it's a video game instead of a movie. she loves wii sports and brain age and is excited for wii fit. nintendo is not broadening the audience just with the controller but also with the software.

if ubisoft thinks these people are going to just get bored with these "lesser" "non-games" they aren't going to do well with these new gamers.

PS3 - Coke. Extremely overrated and expensive.

X360 - Extacy. Makes you feel awesome, but chance of breaking down not too small.

This sounds to me like Ubisoft, is ready to give Wii more big game support, at least brand wise. Meaning we may start getting the Tom Clancy's and there other big brandnames, just for the Wii or something like that. Either way I'm intrigued.

Wii is weed, you can do it every day and feel great doing it. Ps3 and XBOX are meth and cocaine respecivley. XBOX is expensive and a good time while PS3 is a lot like XBOX, but not as fun.
