as of now, metacritic is 5 lower for ps3 and 4 lower for 360 (89 and 90 vs. 94 and 94)...but some person put a 70 on the ps3 version and said quotation forthcoming, and the same for the 360.  Otherwise, with the other two reviews, they are upper 90's.

Gamerkult always doex that, some french site. Like the pitchfork of game reviewers. 13.6 points lower than other critics. They gave Metal Gear Solid 4 an 8 lol

Yea, I just went into their review profile earlier and now see that.  They are the only review in the 70's for the game.  It would still only be a 91 for a score though.  The part I think is really amusing is how MW2 gets such higher reviews, when as previous people have said, literally everythinga bout this game is the same or better (indicating, as I have thought, that MW2 is overrated)

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

I'm still on the fence regarding Black Ops. I've never been a big fan of Treyarch CoD games. They tend to just use whatever Infinity Ward creates and add some extras onto that. The thing that's strange to me is everyone is praising them for it now. I'm not sure when exactly Infinity Ward went from a great developer to a piece of crap but it shows in how people compare the games. If not for Infinity Ward this game wouldn't be close to what it is today. I can't wait for the next CoD game Treyarch makes without having an Infinity Ward game to build off of.

Especially since zombies, which is what treyarch is probably most known for now came from Infinity Ward...

Did I say that? I said they took what IW created and added extras, zombies being one of them. I didn't say they were bad extras either. I just don't get all the hate for IW when if not for them the series would probably still be in WWII.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

deserves less, all cod games do. but if ign are cod fanboys fanboys then black ops deserves more.

 Oh the irony after this.

well I caved in and picked it up..

That review seems off to me.  Started on hardened and the first mission was a blast, started the second mission and the graphics seem to be better to me, sound is sensational.  If it carries on like this it may be the best campaign for a while in COD.

Still gonna trade it in?

Expected.

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

Looks like advertising paycheck from activision was dispointingly small so someone decide to return to proper gaming journalism for once.
