So:

Vanilla Townies are Nameless: linkzmax, (Hephaestos)

Vanilla Townies Have Names: theprof00, (Khuutra)

Brackets indicate uncertainty. In theory, lynching one of the non-bracketed individuals would have a 50% chance of being a good lynch and a 50% chance of being bad to horrible.

Main possibilities here:

Truth: Linkzmax, Hephaestos

Lie: theprof00

In this case, townies are all nameless, or otherwise have generic names. Prof was aware of this and was lying because ???????

Truth: Everyone

Lie: Nobody

In this case, people disagreed on what constituted a named townie. This seems to be the most likely scenario

Truth: theprof00

Lie: Linkzmax, Hephaestos

In this case, prof was right, and all townies have names. Linkzmax was aware of this and lying, as was Hephaestos.

So as you can see, it's nowhere near a 50% chance of lynching Mafia. We need to sit this one out. It's far too ambiguous (especially Possibility 2) to draw any conclusions from.

Vote: No Lynch.

Kantor, that assumes identical likelihood for all scenarios, which isn't the case.

I believe theprof00 because his claim is suicide for Mafia.

My vote stands and I still want the cop to analyze Heph tonight if I can't see him hanged.

I already said I practically forgot entirely that I was even counting votes while reading the exciting developments in the thread.  I don't know why people would be surprised that I missed (let's say) three votes instead of two.
