Those certainly are named characters, as long as each name is unique, so one vanilla townie is called Stormtrooper, one is Grunt, one is Peon, etc.

If all of the vanilla townies are called the same thing (Grunt/Peon/Dergleflaughd), then those townies do not have names.

So, what you are saying is that you have a name which could be applied to a large group of people?

Like, for example, Sailor?

this is a vanilla game, I would consider that having many people with the name "townie" is possible.

Sailor is of course the opposit example, the mafiosi could be all named sailor. I mean it in this way yes.

I don't really know the difference between one and the other but from what was said in the thread, it seems that PGSM has unnamed enemies which would make your claim more believable .

What I don't think is possible (or I should say probable) is that Final-Fan put in both unnamed vanillas and named vanillas, so to me there's still someone lying between you and prof. I haven't made up my mind yet on who that is though.

I don't think we would have many people named "townie", because this isn't a vanilla game; it's a Sailor Moon game with vanilla roles.

If all of the Mafiosi are standard Mafia, then yes, they could all be called Sailor.

well I won't nameclaim cause of the op's discution, but for anyone doing a little research, there is only one type of grunt in SM (if i'm correct :p).... so you'd have to agree that it's a bit odd if i'm the only one.

in any case, believe as you may.

I interviened to save what I believe was an innocent vanilla townie being voted on while away. Being vanilla myself, if you lynch me to prove the point, it's still my win, instead of just a townie death, i've also proved a point.

however with the clarification, i'm now not inclined to believe that all vanilla townies have no names, and thus can't realistically keep my vote on khuut.

His persistance after the clarification however does not bode into his favor, that and the fact that in almost all his posts he tried to point prof00 as the next target should I appear as a nameless townie, all the while doing the presuring himself.

some points:

1) did godofwar_3ever ever justify his vote? beyond having "no reason"?

2) Hephaestos just gave linkzmax a get out clause in terms of the "not being a name, name" thing, if he hadnt mentioned it and linkzmax had stuck to his claim that he has no name then we would have almost certainly nailed him as up to no good, now he can just use the "yeah thats what I meant" excuse >_>

3) now I am back to square one, in so much that I now think a no lynch is the most prudent course of action today as I now have no real suspects

4) thank you for the clarification Final-Fan, I now understand exactly what my alignment is, the "World Conquest" thing had me confused
