To mark the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., a special Wii bundle that includes a "hacked" version of the game was released in Japan on November 11. It's November 12, and the bundles are flooding online auction sites.

Red Wii $299 (since October 25th)

White Wiis are selling by the boatload (no idea about why the colour thing matters though..)

Hardly - the point was about sales/offers in Europe.  It would be bizarre to quote special offers running in the US and to give the currency as euro.

Is that good? or does this mean that peope lreally want the red wii so the lucky peopel who have one know they can charge a lot for desperate people?

While this is could be a sign of good sales its not necessarily a guarantee. The red Wii is supposed to be a limited edition, we don't know how many Nintendo are putting out there ATM. Although they are keeping them around until January.
