OMFG!!

TINGLE 2, YES!

*cries* :D

haha, when i'd read the OP I thought of you, and was about to PM you if you hadn't read this yet.

Heh, why thank you!

Not necessary though, my keen instincts apparently naturally drive me towards any noteworthy Tingle-related news.

Oh god I really, REALLY hope they bring this over, if not to the whole West (USA etc.), then at least to Europe. I could die a happy man, then.

Man I wish Nintendo had done this with Mother3 on GBA. I wanted that game so bad and it was most definatly marketable. I was so upset when Nintendo didn't bring it over.

I got to say, Earthbound series came in my mind when I heard about this. What about that series about that text base detective game... what was it called again? Famicom Detective Club 2: Girl In Shadow

Also note worthy, I come across this game when searching the Detective Club. I would love to see something like this making a comeback and develop into a franchise. :P

Rosy RUPEELAND!

I swear that was released here in Europe, hence not 'Japan-only'

On topic: I want ASH, Soma Bringer and the Blood of Bahamut.

Oh, and the DS Tales as Scamco won't do it

Around the Network

Likely candidates (imo) in North America...

  • ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat (Mistwalker / Racjin) already complete localization, ESRB rated
  • Chibi-Robo! Happy Rich Big Sweep (skip) established series, kid friendly
  • Custom Card Battle: Card Hero (Nintendo SPD / Intelligent Systems) Nintendo made, kid friendly
  • English Training (Nintendo SDD) complete UK localization, likely Latin American appeal
  • Face Training (Intelligent Systems) complete UK localization, casual potential
  • Fire Emblem: Heroes of Light and Darkness (Intelligent Systems) inevitable
  • Jam with the Band (Nintendo SDD) Nintendo made, complete UK localization, casual potential
  • Jet Impulse (Gevo Entertainment) already complete localization, ESRB rated
  • Last Window: The Secret of Cape West (Cing) complete UK localization, sequel to successful previous release
  • Make 10: A Journey of Numbers (MuuMuu) complete UK localization, casual appeal, kid friendly
  • Soma Bringer (Monolith Soft) popular import, possible Xenoblade tie-in
  • Super Fossil Fighters (RED / M2) sequel to successful previous release, kid friendly
  • The Legendary Starfy 4 (TOSE Software) prequel to successful previous release, kid friendly
  •  theta (Vitei) already in english, casual potential
...and unlikely titles...
  • Common Sense Training (HAL Laboratory) complex localization, too Japanese for mass appeal
  • DS Fortune Telling (8ing) complex localization, more likely for DSiWare if converted
  • EyeShield 21! Max Devil Power (8ing) limited appeal, licensed IP
  • JUMP! Super / Ultimate Stars (Ganbarion) IP nightmare
  • Ouendan 1 / 2 (iNiS) limited appeal, EBA disappointed sales wise
  • Project Hacker: Origin (RED / Matrix Software) limited appeal, complex localization
  • Slide Adventure: MagKid (Agenda) requires GBA slot
  • Super Control Mecha MG (Sandlot) limited appeal, complex localization
  • Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland / Balloon Trip of Love (Vanpool) NOA has issues with "effeminate" protagonists
  • Tomodachi Collection (Nintendo SPD) problems with speech recognition, likely saved for 3DS release
  • Touch Panic! (aki) too simple, more likely for DSiWare if converted
  • Yakuman DS / Wi-Fi (Nintendo SPD) Mahjong, more likely for DSiWare if converted

Here's hoping for ASH and Last Window. LW in particular would make my wife very happy.

Last Window is out in Europe already. You can import it, if you don't mind UK-english.
