Just imagine.
The PS3 has 2.5 million consoles sold in France, so that's 1 in every 4.5 PS3 owners that the games going to. Now let's assume that it's going to be the same for the total for EMEAA. There's 19 million PS3's in EMEAA so if we divide that with 4.5 that's a first week shipment of 4.2 million copies to EMEAA alone!

I don't think it would be that high... but it would probably mean that the first shipment would more than pay back the 5 years (or so...) of work
555k doesnt include bundles. With bundles it may well be over 650k initial shipment.
