He made a ridiculous thread and people called him on it.  Eventually it was locked and he apparently decided that he didn't want to be a member of VGC anymore.

That's disappointing to here. He brough a fresh view on politics, and was really a great member.

I personally really liked his threads.  He is a smart man and i'll miss his wisdom on politics.

silly for some to get upset about his threads (he was just pointing out the truth)- silly he wanted to be deleted.

I really liked Mafoo.  I messaged him and he indicated to me that he was done here.  Not in an angry way.  Just in a "It's time to move on" type of way if you ask me.  You know as we grow older priorities change.  That might be what happened with him.  I don't think you should look too much into this happening right after his thread was locked.  I for one didn't see anything in his thread that was any different than any other political thread on here that would have warranted locking it.  Oh well.  As Wayne and Garth would say, "GAME ON!"
