the main question is where will you be playing NFS

PS3, you're not getting off that easy!

I think the DS3 is the better controller for my racing needs, plus having online forever is a sweet thing.

Plus, Microsoft are offering the first month after my free month is up for 10 DKK ($1,5-2), so I just got myself another month. It's ridicolous how many hoops you have to jump through to cancel the automatic renewal though. :S

Microsoft has been releasing some pretty solid bundles this year. The Spring Elite bundle with Forza 3 and Halo: ODST for free was pretty bad ass too at the time pre-S Model. Microsoft should be offering seasonal bundles with free older games more often. Microsoft basically loses nothing by giving away Forza 3 and Alan Wake for free because these games are dead in the water sales wise now anyway. And gamers win by getting two solid (but older) exclusives for free.

Forza 3, dead in the water? Maybe for the regular version, but they did just release the Forza 3 Ultimate Collection (with all the dlc and bonus content), so sales would've picked up anyway. (at least somewhat)

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

I hear that dealing with Microsoft customer service is a pain in the ass. So I would never buy the Gold membership from Microsoft directly (which means automatic renewal). Ever. You should always buy the Gold cards. Not from Microsoft directly.

I really hate it when you call to cancel a service and the CSRs don't respect your wishes and keep piling on the hard sell on you to stay with their service. Fuck that shit. Since when did customer service mean trying to shove shit that your customers don't want down their throat? Dell and my credit card company kept begging me to buy some extra stuff. I should have told them to suck a dick instead of giving them a million polite "no thank yous" and explaining to them over and over again why you don't want what they are shilling until they fucking took a hint. These fuckers don't respect a polite "no thank you" anymore. if you are a telemarketer, in sales or in customer service, I understand that you are forced to do this. But customers have every right to take a stand and demand respect. This is why I would never work in sales, especially ones that focus on retention. There should be a special place reserved in hell for the people responsible for creating these "customer service" policies.

I agree that the 360S is slick (I happen to have the luxury of owning the Halo: Reach model) -

I also agree that LIVE is leagues ahead in terms of communication with others (I still prefer the services on PSN though), and it just got better yesterday. I'm not too fond of the contrast, but it'll do.

All in all, I prefer the PS3 as a console, but like my Reach 360S the most in terms of aesthetics. So we agree there too.

the slim 360 is a sexy beast, and runs slitly less hot then the PS3 slim. love the online for both consoles. have fun and enjoy!

Well you can just delete the credit card info from your LIVE account and then it wouldn't automatically renew.

By the way, can anyone tell me if I can import Microsoft point cards? And if so, where can I do it from (I live in Denmark)? The UK (cheap points )?

Can you not just buy points from amazon, game or any other uk shop?

You tell me, I don't have a clue.

Well I don't have any experience importing from the UK for obvious reasons, but when you buy points, you get a code and just put that into XBL and you get given points, so it should work, but I can't be sure

Congrats on your new 360 man!

If your looking for some XBL friends you can add me.

Got to play an FPS on it, the controller really is a step up from the Dualshock 3 for playing FPSs. Not a huge step, but a step up non the less.

Add Me.

PullusPardusXBL ......So i can beat you on Xbox demo version of NFS as well (btw did you beat the record ? i haven't check)

gotta brag about it !
