Mascots are actually what makes people recognize a console from other, lots of people can't really tell the difference between PS3 and 360 , because they feel they're the same, they need a stable mascot

i say Sackboy is more iconic, see...? hes a mascot.

Sony could use a mascot, like Sonic, Mario of Master Chief, but theres a good reason why people in the west dont know about the cat - and i think its pretty obvioius why...
but sackboy would be a decent mascot imo!

All I can say Toro is Awesome
SONY should not be afrade to use a Very Japanese icon in the West.

An Italian plumber and a talking hedgehog. Neither of those is "too Japanese" by any standard. But an Anime style cat is much more Japanese.
