I think that was roughly the middle of the book, but that would seem a bit weird for a movie, since there would be a certain lack of action, on the other hand the 2nd part would be nothing but action....

Ah. I thought I read it was right after... well... you know, so it would be right before question Griphook.

So that means the last movie is over the span of around 240 pages, and the first movie over the span of a whopping 519.
