If the article is about selling consoles and not just about selling an add-on then I think they're correct.

Kinect console bundles  >>>  Move console bundles

when it is all said and done it will be like the ds and psp, yeah the move will sell all right, BUT the Kinect will be a game changer. all i gotta say is if you own MSFT stock hold it, if you dont buy it on any dip like me i picked up 2000 shares when it was still 23.41, it reached 27.15 today and it will go higher after Kinect numbers come in

Because they don't want it to do good.  Honestly all of the so-called 'reasons' I've seen are so biased that they cannot be taken seriously.

The only thing that will help us to see the legs of either of these will be 2nd generation software, which we may not know about until E3 2011.  There will be some 1.5 gen (sorry, can't think of what else to call them) games that will likely release in late winter and spring that may be slight improvements on what we see at launch and may keep interest generated at least.

Here's to hoping MGS, SCE and 3rd parties have some intriguing ideas cooked up for these add-ons.  It'll really be a waste if they don't (especially for SCE as it would only confirm some fears people have about the purpose of Move).

And what if Kinect doesn't sell better than Move? Maybe. Maybe not.

Stop daydreaming about sales for a stupid add-on. Kinect even fails to have ONE good game with it. Think people are expecting Kinect to do better than it can, and will be disappointed in the end. One thing you have to know, Kinect and Move don't really sell consoles all that much. It's an expensive thought to think so. These people will buy the Wii first, or have already. 80% of the users who buy it are already placed followers and own the console they buy it for. After initial hype, I think it will fail to be "big" as MS and MS fans want to make everyone else believe it's..

ok i am a little slow in the gaming news right now. kinect is.... what?. kinect is what is used to be called natal?.

who cares. i can bet my life that ps3 will outsell 360 this holiday with or without kinect. i find all this kinect talk pretty desperate on the 360 fans part simply bcause they never mention any games to go with it. xbox 360 is supposed to be a GAMES console.

With the new dashboard, MS is making me feel like I only have half an Xbox if I don't have Kinect.
