Just for the record, the Wii will lose its dominance when some of the HD consoles outsell it.
Even if it stops selling right now, PS3 or 360 will strugle to pull of 75M units sold. If they ever achieve that mark.
The Wii will end the generation about near the 110M. That's way above whats in reach for any HD console.
No, the Wii dominance is not at a close.

being the winner by less than 50% is kind of a weak definition of "domination". I assume most mean 50% market share by the idea of "domination" and I agree that Wii will most likely not get to that point. Otherwise domination is just an overstatement for winning.

In previous generations, "domination" has meant well over 50% of the market.
Clearly this is not something we'll be seeing this generation, particularly with sales of the top seller tapering off sooner than those of the runner ups, which have remained more significant in terms of development support and "runner up sales" than any previous generation.
And no, the Wii Vitality Sensor won't change a thing to all Nintendo hopefuls. That's if it even shows up on the Wii. If it does, in all likelihood it will be little more than another Nintendo title w/ peripheral that results in limited support by third party games at best.
That being said, a $150 price point will open up Wii market further and even without a price drop, the Wii will almost certainly sell over 33% when the 2010 holiday season totals are tallied up. Domination, no. Top seller? Still likely.
