It surprises me people still buy games from High Voltage :/

I don't know what made them so popular.

The over hyped conduit maybe.

It was that they were the first notable developer outside of Nintendo to say they were treating the Wii like a real system, not just something to "test" or throw a bone.

But they still failed with it's release now didn't they?

It still made money, since HVS kept the budget in line. So it wasn't a failure. Plus they didn't turn tail and run like other develoeprs with their aformentioned tests and bone throwing crap . They took input from fans and are trying to improve what they are doing.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Whatever pays the rent on the building.

Anyways, I saw Tournament of Legends for 10 USD at Target. Lol. I would have bought it if I wasn't already buying Left 4 Dead.

Mike, you are probably one of the few people on this website that admits to buying "garbage" games like that

On the Wii, those garbage games often have better $/enjoyment ratios than third-party high-end games.

Plus, it is a seasonal fun game based upon the best Christmas special of all times (which is based on a song for a department store chain).

PS -- If you have young children, you will be buying those types of games too soon enough.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
