No one knows the future... this is a pointless discussion... MS can overship now the Xbox 360 just to meet the Kinect demand... its pointless and no one knows what gonna happen.

You can't be serious... that's what you got from what I said? Let me clarify.

I'm implyiing Sony shipped as many consoles retailers are willing to accept. MS on the other did not, they just sent enough to meet consumer demand. You know MS will be shipping out a ton of consoles for the Kinect release.

How hard is it to accept that going by shipped numbers is stupid? The 360 could have 50 million shipped at the moment. Who knows?

are you joking businesses are not just going to except extra ps3's if the ones they have are not clearing out, they are not a charity you know, every ps3 does cost them $$ after all, when they sell ps3's they only make back what they initially bought it for, no profit is made on hardware!!

That's not what I am asking for at all. I have often provided constructive criticism in the hope to improve the data here. I have defended the site on even for example Neogaf (VGChartz is banned there) that it should get the benefit of doubt, this as I hoped people are doing their best to provide accurate data, one could learn from past mistakes.

But statistically for this website to be defendable, the 360 needs to be undertracked more often and the PS3 needs to be overtracked more often (so you end up somewhere in the middle closer to reality).

The data provided on this website is often used (or abused if too far from reality) by fans in discussions around the web. Thus I hope VGChartz will get more accurate for the future. I just wanted to explain why I am not involved that much anymore here and why I don't use the data on this website anymore.

Hence, I'm not saying business are going to "except" or even accept extra PS3s. I'm saying they received what they are requesting. To the contrary, they may not have all they requested from MS.

These shipment numbers are from the end of September. Perhaps MS made a huge shipment of consoles in October.

Sorry but why would 1000 pcs of game x sold in USA be any better than 1000 pcs of same game sold in a dozen of smaller countries? 

Especially with price in Euro zone > price in US    even including VAT tax.

Sony has a Tonne of Exclusives launching next year

while 360 has minimal due to small 1st and 2nd party support compared to sony 

That tonne of exclusives could draw a load of 360 owners sick of the focus on causal audience with the kinect and draw future hardcore players due to those titles. 

2011 is the year of Sony and will reach 60-70 million by 2011 end 

I have to say that reading the bolded every year, without fail, is growing very tedious. Yes, Sony appears to be doing pretty well just now with the PS3, but it's no PS2. Or PS. Personally, I'm glad of this, as greater competition leads to companies taking greater steps to provide better services and content. I give a big thumbs up to that.
