MS expects the revenue to grow about 2 billion USD next year for the EDD. That is a bold statement. Windows Phone 7 and Kinect are no doubt the biggest products for this division. If MS cuts the price of the Xbox 360, this might be hard to achieve.

What do you think? Do you think Kinect and WP7 can do much more than this? (They would have to in order to catch the less revenue made by the Xbox 360 console itself.)

Article up. The 38% increase is in reference to worldwide figures. I thought it was in reference to the USA, but they're up by 70% here over July-Sept 2009, so its obviously being dragged down by the rest of the world which likes X360 less than Americans do.

U.S.A is the main force of Xbox 360... We all know that.

chances of PS3 outselling XBOX 360 world wide are pretty high..

2.9 million for XBOX 360 is significantly higher than the Wii's 1.9 million, considering the 360 is a year older than the wii it's quite impressive, I think the XBOX 360 will have a record quarter this upcoming quarter with kinect and the holidays, with people upgrading to the new XBOX 360 and with people getting into KINECT, microsoft is really advertising it, makes move seem like a mediocore launch.

Microsoft said the XBOX 360 outsold all its competitors in the U.S but not in europe or elsewhere.. so... you know what that means, if the wii didn't do it..
