I really don't want most of the rewards that are available to buy with the coins one gets after registering a nintendo first party product on their site. Is there anyway to convert them to points I can use on the DSi & Wii shop channels?

I'm not sure about other countries, but in the U.K one can transfer stars to Nintendo poins. The rate is a rip off 4 to 1, so I would advise you to spend your point on other things such as the SNES classic controller, Golden Wii Wheel, G&W collection, etc.

yeah it was 400 star points for 100 wii points, i guess its better then nothing. I'm from Sweden but i managed to use the UK site and get some bonuses.
