It's better then the Wii version (unless they have updated the Wii version in the last few months)
And yes, it's nice that some devs chose universal apps. I use IM for my MSN Messanger role on the iPhone, and that app had a vey good iPad implementation. It was nice that I didn't have to pay for it.
