Netflix - This a great service, and it has a great app. Try the one month free trial.

Air Video - Don't need Netflix because you have a bunch of videos already on your computer? Stream them to your phone with Air Video. Converts just about anything into .h264 either ahead of time or on-the-fly, and streams it to your iDevice.

I missed those two, because I use them Exclusively on my iPad. Great apps.

Actually, I'd say Netflix's iPad app is the worst of any platform, and I've tried it on everything but a 360. It's like they just took their website and made it extra slow and clunky. None of that matters once your stream is going, of course.

And this is a worthy point to new iPhone users who might be interested in getting an iPad down the line. iPhone apps with a little plus sign in the price tag are universal, which means they work on both devices. It was pretty sweet to have ~25 native iPad apps the first day I had my iPad at no extra charge.

It's better then the Wii version (unless they have updated the Wii version in the last few months)

And yes, it's nice that some devs chose universal apps. I use IM for my MSN Messanger role on the iPhone, and that app had a vey good iPad implementation. It was nice that I didn't have to pay for it.
