Real Time Strategy

Currently, my favorite 'genre' is the Indie Games section on XBox Live, especially the 'Other' genre.

There are so many games there that are not just your boring cookie-cutter games and just have a fresh new feeling to them.  A lot of them aren't actually even games but are still enjoyable experiences.

Some of my favorite NON-games: EZ-Muze , Physics Sandbox, Globe Clicker, RC-AirSim, and Graffiti Live!

And of course, for Halloween (and even after), check out Scare Me.

Action/Adventure/RPGs.  Zelda, Ys, Okami, Quintet, Mana, Monster World, Igavania, Crystalis, LandStalker, Oasis, Alundra, Gargoyle's Quest, Faxanadu, Popful Mail... nothing else even compares.

RPG, with platformers coming in second and FPS coming in last.

rpg's of course its such a flexible genre in my opinion.

Same i fucking love rpgs.Everything else is 2nd place.

It's a toss-up between FPS and WRPGs.  I play the HELL out of both of them.  Funny that my favorite game this gen is a Third-Person shooter though!

Probably platfomers closely followed by action/adventure.

if "Mario games" is a genre, Mario games. or maybe strategy, but it's not like I'm a fan of the genre, it just happens that Civilization, SimCity and Europa Universalis are part of it.
