It might have sold 1M starter bundles, in fact, it's probably pretty safe to assume that in that 2.5M, at least 1M(if not 1.5M>) is starter bundles, as standalone Move controllers are hard to come by, and the navicon isn't that popular. In regards to software sales, what are the combined sales for Heavy Rain, Ruse, Tiger Woods, Resident Evil, Sports Champions, Eyepet, Tumble, Echochrome 2, and all the other recently released Move games?
Hundreds of thousands of Kinect games in it's first month should be pretty easy as there's a game packed in with Kinect units in all regions, unlike with Move.

What are the sales of heavy rain. Tiger woods e.t.c AFTER move's release ? Even they wouldn't really indicate much but still that's what we should be looking at...or are you implying we should consider Heavy rain's and RE overall sales ??
What 2.5 million sold, the numbers are clearly shipped and i doubt they shipped more starter bundles, it's just that SB are not selling as good as the single controller.
When i am talking about kinect's software sales i am EXCLUDING the pack-in game. Hundreds of thousand of games sold without kincet adventures.
This is sony grasping at straws (as usual) which will become even funnier when the first kinect numbers get released and ,of course, the November/December NPD for the xbox360.

Well, some people bought Move without buying any additional games, and just played games they bought before Move's release that have been patched.
When Sony says sold, they have sold them, TO RETAIL! You doubt they shipped more starter bundles than standalone Move controllers and navicons? Really?!
Fair enough then, we'll see. I actually think a few games, Kinectimals in particular, will sell quite well.
How are they grasping at straws, all they've done is announce the number of move untis they've sold, just like MS will do with Kinect? Unless there are versions of NPD/Charttrack in ALL the countries that Sony ship to, then their shipped/sold figure is the only one they can use.
