Move could very well outsell Kinect, in terms of Sony's figures I expect so. In terms of homes penetrated, I think not. Just my opinion.

if he was talking about NPD he wouldn re clarify saying it did better than he initially estimated

He wasn't correcting his figures (around 300k) he was rectifying his initial estimates.

he said his initial estimates were lower than he thought, his initial estimate was 300k

i don't bother which will sell more, how well the exclusive software make use of its potential is more important to me, no matter how good it sells, with no great software support, it will be nothing but just a piece of toy peripherals for gaming.

so far from all annoucement there is more software i'm interested for Move titles, but Kinect still none..

what makes you think vgchartz has completely accurate software numbers...

I don't blindly believe VGChartz numbers. I do believe NPD (No Move games on the top 10) and the 10th position sold like what 80.000 thousand units IIRC? And no Move games in the top positions in the European charts. Those software numbers don't match with the numbers from Sony.

Sums it up nicely tbh, either you believe VGC, NPD ect figures or you don't, but how you think Move has sold ganbusters in America without any single game topping 80k for the month is beyond me.


NPD isn't america, and sony's numbers aren't just september

Right it's only the vast majority of the americas and the article clearly states that the numbers are for MOVE's first month in the market  (that would be from 09/15 to 10/15). Software just does not match, period. Keep trying.

what software sales??? NPD does not release software sales for CANADA or LATIN AMERICA, and they only had 15 days worth of data for move software...

for just the U.S...

you cannot say sony is lying, because they can't lie, and software sales say that there are over 2.5 million copies of RE5, along with Heavy rain, and Mag, have sold millions combined, those are move ip.


Okay, let's make this simple so that even you can understand. The article says sold to retail no to consumers, what's so hard to understand about that?

And that reference was in put in an update to the article, meaning that they contacted SONY.

If you want to be such knucklehead then let's just wait till they announce, 4-5 million units shipped, should be pretty soon, right?

In White Knight Chronicles I was playing online with her and she had a headset and she was speaking.

Although I don't think non-USA makes up a dramatic amount of move's Americas sales it's foolish to assume that they account for almost nothing. PES 2010 sold more in Latin America than it did in the US and God of War 3 has about 25% of its Americas sales outside of the states.

move had a head start so i believe it will sell more for the year, also people with one console will and can buy more than one move that cant be said about kenict unless it breaks on them or something so thats more sales per user

JP numbers should be huge though have you seen how cheap move and it SW cost there? i dont think JP will heavily support kenict which also adds more insurance for move 

i have no doubts that move will sell more in 2011 though none at all
