So for whatever reason my controllers won't turn on my ps3. i start playing around with the controller assign thing and it goes up to seven! To make it even more stranger the 3 and 4 blocks on my controller are lit, when the hell did this happen? Last time I checked it went to four.
It was always like that. PS3 supports up to seven SixAxis/Dualshock 3 at same time.

really? wtf! does this mean three navs and three moves can be connected?
Why not 8?

I'm not sure about this one. All I know is you can use up to 4 Moves, I think the camera is the cause of that. If so, this means 3 NavCons 3 Moves can work, but I have no idea at all about that. Sorry!

i'm sure you wouldn't lol
this was always the case and some games support it i think i remember seeing the new WWE game supports up to 6 players while the 360 version was only up yo 4 players

I think its stuck at 7 due to Bluetooth technology at the time.
Afaik, if there were 8 or more the connection became unstable and couldn't be used properly.
Although I could be wrong.
