Will the move give PS3 a boost though? It hasnt been anywhere in the preorders charts. Though i dont know if that matters really

Kirby has a small debut, it aint that good at all! Its legs may be different, but i am disappointed alot. :/ The preview way off again. PS3 looks like it has a strong footing now in japaan. And the preview is off on many things recently. The PS3 has a much solid lineup coming up. Not 500k sellers, but alot of 100k ones for sure. 

Interesting. Kirby sold less than the Preview led us to believe. Regardless, 92k is pretty good.

Kirby games usually leg it out, but if this doesn't manage to do so past 360k, it will be the worst selling Kirby in Japan EVER!

Wii overall is in piss-poor shape. I didn't expect a large boost from Kirby...but at least 2k or something, not sales to go down. Holidays will definitely be interesting. Nintendo did a great job of completely destroying all the momentum they had with the Wii.

Oh come on :/ Nintendo singlehandedly sold 10 million wiis in japan, with no 3rd aprty support. I'd say nintendo did amazingly well to stay in this position. 3rd parties have screwed the wii up though. We should admit though, that if the wii had HD graphics, it wouldnt have aged this bad at all.

Btw I remember when i predicted that kirby would flop and made a thread about it... i wish i was wrong :(

Wii shoudl sell at least 12M LT in Japan before wii 2 comes in 2012.

Hahaha, so much doom and gloom (on one side, on the other side gloating). Lighten up people ! Kirby doesn't boost Wii hardware sales in Japan (something I am personally not surprised about), and everyone goes straight away from "Nintendo will dominate the holidays" to "Nintendo has failed, the Wii is a failure, WE ARE DOOMMEZZ"... ROFL. The Wii "FAILURE" is a GRAND TOTAL of 40k (wow!) behind PS3 in Japan this year (actually 3k ahead according to Famitsu), and more importantly, Nintendo is still making a great profit, and the Wii is a failure? get real people, land back with your feet on the ground. The Wii is past its peak, but Nintendo is profiting greatly, and probably much more on every unit sold than its competitors are.

Like PS2.....oh wait.  Just kidding lol.  I just REALLY wish we had the ability to make charts still because I really wanna see if Wii is still trending above PS2 at this point in its life.

PS2 eventually did fall, but it dominated so much that it didn't matter. The Wii "might" be able to outsell the PS2, but it will NEVER reach the epicness of the PS2 library.

huh I see wii topping no more than 95M LT, no way will Wii top 150M.
