I don't really care about the Xbox 360, but the thing I hate about the limited DVD space is when devolopers have the option to include a Japanese voice track for the PS3 version and don't include the track because they want to keep both versions the same.

It happened with FFXIII and it recently happened again with Sengoku Basara 3.

If you have the option just do it, negate the others. It's not the fault of the PS3 that the others are using a dated storage disc.

Go away. Same goes for Snfr.

360 fanboys post negative stuff about other consoles all the time just like nintendo and sony fanboys, its their hobby... I guess, don't join them by making rediculous claims that only snoy nintendo fanboys act like fanboys, tell people to leave that don't agree with you, especially when they do have a valid point doesn't strengthen your case either

anyway, eh, halo 2600 can be fit on 4KB of rom space 6.7 GB should be plenty for most purposes, obviously multiple language voice overs can be fit on a blu-ray more easily, but is the option to have multiple vo nice for some, yes, for others, no, does it allow for more prerendered cutscenes with less compression? sure, is that a necessity, no.  right now, extra storage space generally seems to be a luxury, not a necessity,

people have made great games on 2KB of space, having 100TB of content won't make a junk game good

Or, you could just go away.

@hero_time  i 2nd that motion!!!

@MARCUSDJACKSON  that is actually a good idea in theory, but alot of people will be pissed they can no longer trade in games and I imagine that would kill your harddrive limiting what games you can buy

Great. Worst or at least most useless comment I have ever seen. Seriously, grow up.

And we have a second place :)

On topic: They could always just pull a Forza and have a second disc that you install to your hard drive,

Isn't their game about 4hrs long? How did they have problems fitting content?

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

It was just an advice.

If you had seen any of his comments since he's a member of VGC you'd probably agree with me (if you're reasonable). He has never posted anything really useful..., except for a few exceptions.

Let's stay on topic, btw. As I always said, Blu-ray may not be needed, but it's an advantage for developers. Platinum Games complaining about that is just another proof of that.

I don't know if Blu-ray is the future, but I consider the small storage that DVD's have pretty much as the cancer of this generation. Never liked the GTA games, but one of the reasons that GTA4 had less content than San Andreas was probably because they wanted to fit everything into a ridiculous DVD.

Well, atleast they did there job right for the PS3 version of Star Ocean. No disc swapping if I want to visit a planet and I have the option to listen to the language I want to hear. :)

Shame it's one of the few exceptions.

that makes me wonder do other developers cut content behind the scenes?

People like Snfr, Hero_time and Whatever should be banned from this section, they make nothing but wortless posts.
