as a FPS it's totally mediocre (meaning it's still decent, but there are so many better FPS out there that's it's simply not worth it)

It's extremely short. I know MW2 was really short as well, but it had at least an extra mode with new missions that could be completed alone or in co-op, which also lasts for some more hours.

Graphics are rather weak. bad textures, mediocre character models. Rest is okay.

Level design is bad. Play the first 3 minutes of a level and you know what the rest looks like. Also you always need to wait for your AI teammates to open doors or give you the order to kick in doors. Obstacles where it's impossible to jump over unless your team finally allow you to do it. I'm also not exactly sure how many weapons are in the campaign, but I'd find it hard to believe if it was more than 10. Also if (huge if) you're able to run ahead at one point, you will be surrounded by directly in front of you spawning enemies.

It's buggy. In my 4 hours playthrough I encountered 2 game breaking bugs where my AI teammate didn't open the door to the next part of the level or didn't help me up a ledge. For a 4 hours game, that's too much.

Story is bland, cinematics are boring. You have absolutely no connection to your team, because 1. it's so short. 2. You play as 3 different characters in 10 missions and each of your main characters has a different team. Most missions are simply boring.

Gameplay wise it's okay, but I've seen better. Aiming can be off a couple of times, making a headshot difficult even though you put your red dot sight exactly on a head (on medium range). The driving parts in the game are a joke. They have no purpose and it's not even fun because you won't encounter any enemies. It also tries to copy the controls from CoD there, but IMO driving in CoD is still wuite a bit better.

AI is okay-ish. They do kill some enemies, but sometimes they let some of them run past right past them, which is annoying when you're trying to back him up.

Even though I'm a big fan of FPS, I just can't give this game a great score. Hard to believe, but Black Ops will smash this game and I'm not even talking about the sales. I also think PS3 owners will have much more fun with the included MoH Frontlines HD.
To describe the game with one word: forgettable

I like the single player, but hate the multiplayer. I think the story is great and the cinematics are refreshing. I agree with you about it being buggy,I had to restart a level because my teamate kept running up against the wall, into the same spot. Again I don't hate the game, but I simply think the call of duty does it much, much, much better. I bought this game for the frontline game, and to get my FPS fix until black ops comes out,I'll probably play the game as much as I can and trade it in once black ops comes out. lol

and you like MW2 single player for ? >_>;

that game doesn't even make sense.

Both this and MW2 are average games not worth more than 7-8s in review scores but most of reviewers must feel it's much easier to give real score to something relatively unknown than to game player by thousands of your readers.

And even if it were good i woudn't pay more than 5 bucks on steam promo for 4 hours long game.

What made me who was following this game for a while now (check the forums my FAQ post i made is stickied there) not buy the game was when i discovered that my main drawing point wasn't epic it was built up to be. Come on they had a whole experienced studio working on it which is sad they produced a buggy 4 hour experience. now IGN are a joke but when others like Game Informer, game trailers, gamestop post consistence reviews i was like thats it. It was either this or Black ops i had to choose now as there was no trade ins with the limited edition and that everyone of my friends would get Black ops.

Also black ops will be better than MW2 since Treyarch want to be the number one team not the "other Studio that makes COD" under IW. MW2 was a steaming pile of Crap and is an extreme case of over hype.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I hate it because all the people online play with sniper rifles and camp all the time,

you can shoot someones arm or foot with a sniper rifle and get a 1 hit kill,

the hit detection sucks and sometimes it says your getting shoot from behind even though your standing with your back to a wall,

you can use the sniper rifles as close range weapons and they are more powerful and effective than the shotgun at close range,

theres no kill camera which is fine I understand it gives peoples positions away but at least point in the direction of were you got killed because half the time I'm spawning when I get killed,

the maps are all cattered for snipers. Theres no maps cattered for close range or medium range weaponry. They are all cattered to snipers,

you can't mute anyone online, it doesn't show the person whos talking and you can't talk to friends in a lobby. Also because it doesn't show whos talking you get a lot of annoying people shouting abuse on a mic and because you can't mute anyone in this game you have to live with it,

and the online freezes every 5 minutes for a few seconds and the EA servers disconnect you from the online every half an hour.

There do you now get why people hate MOH.

im finding MOH to be excellent. campain story is definatly better than CODMW2 campain, its much more story driven.

multiplayer its typical battlefield esque gameplay which is a tad under COD online but still good to play anyways.

one of my gripes is there seems to be much more racist abuse online compared to other games ive played.

If you played MW1 before it's so much better yes.

Plus there is not one boring mission in MW2. Every one of them is packed with intense action from the beginning to the end.  Medal of Honor feels so slow and boring in comparison.

As for your team, you definitely have a connection to the most important members: Captain Price, Soap MacTavish, Ghost and maybe even Nikolai.

I could go on what I like more in MW2, but I tried to only respond to the bolded part
