Yes it will have legs throughout the Holidays. I'm not all that worried.
But what I find a tad funny is that Ninja Theory was disappointed with Heavenly Sword sales so they went multiplatform with Enslaved but Heavenly Sword still managed to have a better week one than Enslaved combined. Just a funny observation.

I was thinking the exact samne thing what with heavenly swords sales and all lol. And yea I really hadn't thought about the holiday boost.
I was wondering for few months if Enslaved will outsell HS.
NT said they wanted to go multiplatform to avoid pressure and attention assosiated with developing exclusive seems they avoided attention of gamers a bit too well :D

So much for Kojima saving Castlevania.
What a horrible night to have a flop! LOLOL!
It's sad that Castlevania didn't sell better last week, but it really is a fun game, I'm not even halfway through yet, I don't think...Lots of things to do in that game for being an action/adventure/hack'n'slash type of game...
Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...
Castlevania will have good legs imo...especially with good word of mouth, quite a few of my friends (me also) will be buying it down the road
as for enslaved: can't say I'm sad about this...the devs can't keep their traps shut to save their lives..there were many interviews nearing the release where they tried to blame the ps3 for their problems in sales and such...I'm sure they lost some sales cuz of that too
and in all honesty, the game looks like a super boring one...I haven't played a demo so can't say for sure but as an outsider looking in, it just does not look interesting at all...story = interesting. Gameplay = what's new? Maybe I'm wrong tho

I can't see them having good legs; the sales numbers were probably inevitable due to October being by far the most crowded month this holiday with other bigger games just around the corner. Neither of them are going to be million sellers and even getting to 500K might be hard.
I ain't spending a dime on Lords of Shadow and I bought pretty much every castlevania to come out in the last 10 years (except judgement on wii).
Not a castlevania I wanted to play...I'm pretty sure it will fail in Japan as well. Japanese rarely like the american style...burger with cheese type...combat based gameplay which Lords of Shadow offers. I seriously hope it fails so they can reboot this reboot and do it properly...
As far as enslaved, I am glad I rented that too. It gets boring pretty quickly.
I expect Castlevania to have good legs on the 360.
On PS3, people have Gow3 already.
