Here are the final results of last years 10 week countdown, for those not familiar with how it works I will give a brief explanation, a more in-depth explanation can be found here: 10 week Countdown 2009. This years competition is now open and you can make your prediction here: 10 Week Countdown 2010.

In brief then, this is a competition between willing members of VGC to find the best predictors of the most interesting time of the year for sales,... that being the final 10 weeks of the year including the run up to, and run down from Christmas. Points are awarded based on how accurate each entrants prediction is to the released VGC figures for each of the ten weeks, as well as taking into account the total of their 10 week predictions versus the total VGC sales. Then, as in golf, whoever has the lowest score wins (though there are no physical prizes). Between the three home consoles and two handhelds, as well as being able to seperate week by week, there are a whole host of chances for victory... as such here are the results:

For 2009 there were 23 entrants for all five platforms, with the addition of Jadakiss1217 who only entered for the three home consoles, as such he is kept seperate for any ranks that include the handhelds. To view what each person predicted please visit the thread

I'm PROUD to come 3rd

3rd is the best place to be at

PS3 is in 3rd place, but is the best

Bronze means 3rd place but sells the most

GT5 will be releasing on the 3rd of November

Elder Scrolls Iv Oblivion is the 3rd best selling console RPG this gen

FF3 (american release) was actually FF6 which is the best FF ever
