Well, considering the move software sales... ppl are buying move without getting any softwares? Pretty weird huh.
Sports Champion the best selling move software was only 19th in UK last week. which is the biggest market in EU and also have the biggest PS3 install base in EU.
|
for every move software sold, a consumer could have purchased 4 PS move controllers, meaning that if there are 200-300K Sports champions games sold to consumers, there could be 2-4 PS move controllers sold just for one software.
In fact, sony isn't tracking one move "console" per household, but are in fact tracking each move sold...
it's not out of the realm of possibility that consumer sales are over a million in europe, as the move has been hard to find everywhere in europe, giving one the impression that the actual consumer figure for individual move controllers is very close to 1.5 million.

exactly. so the real question I think a lot of people are gunning for is how many people own move for there own system in europe? Not 1.5 million. The problem is that your not going to know because you got, buy this, buy that, add that. Anyone buying move is going to buy another controller, so right there splits the whole 1.5 million in half. Not only that but if you account for the navigation, it gets even more cut up. So what is the real sales? Your not going to know! Sony and the media can spin the numbers anyway they want and they will. count on it.

Yeah that's all I was trying to say in an earlier post on this thread and got ripped a new one by people that still refused to refute what you just reiterated above.
When I saw all of the components of Move I said to myself "I sure hope Sony doesn't spin this" so when I saw these statements I lost it. Its just proof that Move vs Kinect is going to be about as annoying a fanboy battle as any other because it is IMPOSSIBLE to know how much the actual install base is of Move. Do you hear me? IMPOSSIBLE. Anybody that says otherwise is delusional.
